I. Were any Popes martyred?

Saint Peter was martyred in Rome in 67 AD. He was crucified upside down on a cross. He requested that he be crucified upside down since he did not deem himself worthy to die the same death as Jesus. His crucifixtion is foretold by Jesus in John's Gospel.

"Jesus said to him 'Feed my sheep. Amen, amen, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and go where you wanted; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.' He said this signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when he had said this, he said to him, 'Follow me.'" John 21:18-19

In the twentieth century, Pope Pius XI, Pope Paul VI, and Pope John Paul I were all murdered. Pope Pius XI was murdered because he opposed Nazicism. Pope Paul VI was murdered so an imposter could be put on the throne. This imposter ruled for 3 years. Pope John Paul I was murdered when he tried to "Clean House" in the Vatican. He tried to rid the Vatican of its Satanist Cardinals. Kathleen Keating, Fr. Kramer and Fr. Gruner of Fatima.Org and Fr. Malachi Martin have all stated that these Popes were murdered by evil forces in the Vatican.
